Arbonne International Return Policy Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I am attempting to return 3 products within my 30 day trial. The first consultant told me I would recieve a shopping label. When I called today and said I haven't recieved it, a second woman told me they won't do it. So I have not only been scammed out of a "prefered client " fee of $20, I am now out shipping costs for both directions. So frustrating!

Arbonne International - Arbonne Work Experience Review from Saint-Faustin--Lac-Carre, Quebec

I joined arbonne a year ago by a friend. I'm am esthetician who is self employed a I thought this is a great way to grow my business. Did I ever think wrong!!! I invested into the company did my 4 launch parties promoted to district manager signed 3 people had 20 pcs drove around to these boring meetings of these rvps nvps who tell these misleading stories about how they started from the bottom had to pay to go to some of these meetings. These people already have some coin they either already have rich husbands or come from a wealthy family. Also there were no h'oderves not even a coffee at these meetings!! I ended up with small pay cheques that I wouldn't even get out of bed for!!!!! Now they took out the 4 percent commission! Seriously are they calling this the best business decision? ? The white Benz is just a lure . This is nothing but a scheme! !! BTW this was my second time giving this business a chance! I never do this or any type of MLM business! ! They are all nothing but pyramids!!!!

"Doing very well and started with nothing"; "a determination to succeed" - This is called FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT. Not worth your time, money or relationships!

"All business models are Pyramids" - Sorry but you know nothing about business!

Legitimate businesses don't ask you to recruit family & friends to meet certain sales goals, or tell you that you must earn your monthly/yearly points or you're out.

Managerial hierarchies in reputable businesses are not pyramidal schemes. Totally misleading!

Guest

All business models are Pyramids. You say Pyramid as if it is a dirty word.

If you work in any hierarchical company, it is a pyramid. Pyramids are symbols that represent great intellect , innovation and forward thinking. I am sorry you had an experience you didn't enjoy. We all create our experiences good or bad.

What we put out into the universe always come back to us.

Put good feelings, love and abundance into the universe and you will receive it back to you.

You really need to do some research on pyramid schemes and the numerous people who have gone to jail for starting them.

I know several ladies that are doing very well n started with nothing. No rich husband just a determination to succeed.

I totally agree with this Lady from Canada, I too got talked into becoming an Arbonne consultant and now feel *** and ripped off.

I wasn't told that I'd have to maintain a QV of 150 every month to get commission or the truth about how much time, money and effort it requires.I'm also a Beauty Therapist i have my own business with product that I already sell without having to jump through all the hoops or get hounded by my sponsor.I'm down about $2000 now but feel happy I got out when I did before I invested anymore of my own money to make sure I met my QV points at the end of the month.

Thanks

You don't have to make a monthly quota like most MLM. You have a yearly goal to meet to maintain consultant status with discount.

It's not much. I spend that much each year and more just on myself alone!

No Products, No Refund

I purchased products totaling $111.78 at a party back in October 2014. I STILL haven't recd my products or a refund. I have been told so many times that it was in the mail. Well, it's now May 1, 2015 and still no refund. And I will be damned if I want the products at this point. I am pursuing small claims court against them, the manager, and the person that held the party. I am through with waiting and waiting and all the different stories I keep getting on where my refund is. All I want is my money back!!!

I've had missing items and when I called customer service they sent a replacement immediately. And as long as you process a return within 45 days they always let you - no questions asked.

Guest

I wouldnt sue the person who held the party. The consultant is the person who should ensure you got the product or give you a refund.

The host took no money.

The consultant recieved the funds and is responsible for the products. Dont punish your friend for a bad consultant.

B.E.S.T..... Best, Ethic, Standard, Team..

BULL!! Bunch of liars and thieves in my mind, I will never do business with them or this person again. Better Business Bureau here I come! I have been dealing with them since February and have the same issue, everyone just gives you the run around.

I had an allergic reaction to the product, I took pics.So disappointed in the treatment I have gotten from them and the rep. Just ignore us and we will go away. *** NO!Everyone should go to the B.B.B. I am today.

I deserve my refund. Heck, I'm trying to be a nice person here and give the benefit, I even exchanged for a different product, that took weeks and the rep just gave me something from her kit...

DIRTY people! I'm going to Jordan Essentials now, at least their people have ethics!

Arbonne International - Return Policy Review from Barrington, Illinois

Here is Arbonne's return policy: "If not completely satisfied may return...to Arbonne Independent Consultant for a replacement or full refund within 45 days of the Client purchase date...Shipping fees are non-refundable".

As for the ingredients, it is a retinoid product. Retinoids such as Retin-A were originally designed as a treatment for acne, but clinical studies (NOT done by Arbonne, but within the medical/pharmaceutical realm) found that these retinoids, forms of vitamin A, also improved skin texture such as minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. It is well known that these retinoid products cause skin redness, drying, itching, scaling, and mild burning during the first few weeks of use. Retinoids also make your skin more sensitive to sun exposure. If you have allergies (which in your case you indicated that you may have an allergy to nickel) or if you have eczema, you should talk to your doctor first before you use a retinoid. Like MIMI below, "I could go on", but UNLIKE Mimi below, I actually HAVE facts to go on with! So, let's continue: When you use a retinoid, you should be using a sunscreen. Retinoids should also only be used about 2 to 3 times per week, never on consecutive days, until your skin has time to adjust, which usually is about 2-4 weeks. If you experience side effects that persist or worsen, you should see your doctor immediately.

Concerning other ingredients, all ingredients are ALWAYS listed on the boxes that the products come in. You should have received your product in its box. If you did not, that is a problem. By law, consumers must be given a full ingredient list. All Arbone products are packaged in boxes with all ingredient information, always. The Independent Consultant also has access to the full ingredient list on the consultants' website.

Finally, a word about your experience: your consultant did not represent Arbonne properly, nor did the two Arbonne consultants who commented below ("consultant" and "Mimi"). THIS is the on-going problem with the lack of proper training for Arbonne consultants. In the end, Arbonne has to take responsibility for this. This "Arbonne Sales force" contains out-of control leaders who do not properly train the consultants that they sign up. Indeed, these women dissuade new recruits from learning about ingredients in the products making statements such as "no one has one to learn all of that" so they LITERALLY discourage you from even trying if you express any interest in that! Don't deny it, because that happened to me, and I heard it from multiple levels going all the way to the highest levels, stopping short of course with the lead chemist and the CEO, who are both quality scientists and business leaders. The lead chemist explains things clearly, concisely and beautifully and has an amazingly generous and kind personality as well, and consultants have access to his "webinars" on the consultants' website.

Your consultant first, should have presented you with an order form BEFORE she placed your order!!! The form would have shown you the price of your product AND shipping and handling costs, which are NOT refundable as stated on the BACK of the order form (again, CLEARLY, the consultant should have given this to You!) The back of the order form ALSO features a "Notice of Right to Cancel" within 3 business days, again UNDERSCORING THAT IT WAS THE CONSULTANT'S OBLIGATION TO GIVE YOU THIS FORM! And so, when "Mimi" below makes the rather condescending statement that "it's your responsibility to know the price", well you would have known had you been given your order form when you placed your order!

Finally, a lack of the most basic of training is evident here inasmuch as this consultant who sold you this product did not even know the return policy. There is just no excuse for that. Did you inform her of your dissatisfaction within 45 days of your purchase date? Since you said she was your ROOMMATE it would be exceedingly difficult for her to NOT know of your dissatisfaction.

And one more "Finally": looking at the "Meet the Product Sheet", I am not of the opinion that Arbonne is providing enough training for a retinoid product such as Genius. I usually keep one box for every Arbonne product that I order, and I wanted to check my box for you to see how detailed the "use instructions" were for this product. In my case, I was apparently so dissatisfied with the product that I actually disposed of the box, having no further interest in it. My mistake. I used it slowly over time and did not return it. I saw the slight redness early on, which is normal for a product like this. It is also common to see breakouts initially as impurities are drawn to the surface as the product stimulates skin cell turnover, which in turn begins to unclog pores. Would I order it again? Can't say that I would, but I did like the way it made my skin feel. It contains as its first two ingredients dimethicone and trisiloxane which give the skin a nice slippery feel and allow the other products such as the serum to go on more smoothly and evenly thus allowing you to use less of them.

And guess what? Because I actually know the product and your comment has caused me to re-evaluate the Genius product and its benefits, who knows? Maybe I WILL reorder the product BECAUSE retinoids ARE clinically and scientifically proven to reduce the occurrence of fine lines and wrinkles. Yes, you do have to be careful with them, especially in the early stages, but they do have their benefits, and Genius does too!

I hope this helps you, I am sorry about the allergic reaction or skin irritation that you experienced, and I am especially sorry to hear that it sounds like you did not receive a receipt upon ordering your product and that you were denied your right to a full refund, assuming that your ROOMMATE knew within 45 days of your purchase order date, that you were experiencing problems with the product. I sure do wish that a more informed and better prepared Arbonne Consultant would have helped you.

I find it interesting that Arbonne is not transparent about their products. Only the consultants are privy to ingredients online?

Why? I was interested in ordering something and couldn't pull up an ingredient list.

And the fact that proprietary ingredients aren't disclosed, really.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-902322

The ingredient list is found online, and at the back of the Arbonne catalogue. So saying that only consultants can view it is not correct

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-997643

You don't have access to the full list of ingredients as a preferred client or regular customer, only consultants have access. Arbonne is NOT transparent with ingredients used, nor are the products organic/nonGMO, truly. I have a "corporate" response regarding their ingredients and according to it, they are not "natural" nor are they pure, safe, and beneficial.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1283541

If you click on "meet the product" you will see all the ingredients in all products. Arbonne is very transparent. Im happy to send you ingredient list- which product ingredients are you searching?

I've been using it for about 2 months and have seen my complexion go from bad to worse! My skin is more dry than in the past and I now have mre dry flaky patches on my face, especially on my cheeks and under my eyes. I have also seen an increase in acne. I am highly disappointed in this product.

If I were you, I would definitely make a huge complaint to the corporation about that!! That could be a lawsuit as well.

Guest

I'm sorry you had this experience with Arbonne's products. Were you able to get your money back if it has not gone past the initial 45 days?

I have extremely sensitive skin, and I use Arbonne's Calm skincare line and have never had an issue with it.

Do you have an independent consultant? I would be happy to do a phone or email consultation with you to try and resolve your issue.

Guest

Perhaps, knowing you are acne prone, you should research the ingredients of a product before you buy? Arbonne does have a range of products manufactured with the acne prone in mind,

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1041911

With what I paid for the Arbonne products I purchased, I shouldn't have to research anything!

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1042552

With any skin problems you should look into what works best with your skin, a consultation with a good independent consultant would help this. Arbonne have a fantastic range for acne prone skin :)

Trust me $80 for skin care that has already lasted 2 months is very good, i'm sorry you have had a bad experience, but i highly recommend you take advantage of the 45 day money back guarantee and perhaps exchange for the clean and clear/ clear future range (not sure what it is called in the american market.

But it's something close to that name. Also it does take time for your skin to regenerate, just like when you have a facial it is the toxins getting pulled out your skin.

I hope you manage to get this sorted. :)

Happy with Arbonne

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I've looking for skin cares that can improve my skin while not creating comedo and pimple, since I have a very oily-inside but dry-outside skin. I also want something safe, though. A friend gave me RE9 Advance sample and I found it worked great. So I join this company as a consultant, just to get 35% off. Now I've been using for more than a month and so happy with it. My skin looks younger and smooth. Still have some comedo sometimes on my chin if I was busy the whole day. But the rest of my face looks better. By joining as a consultant, I got $100 coupon to buy 1 product, and since I shopped more than $400 (my friends want to also try some product), I got another gift from Arbonne. I chose the make-up premier, and like it so much. My friend also gave me the shampoo and conditioner for a try.... I like it so much. I've never try something like that which make my hair so smooth but still have a weight that I need to make my hair straight and manageable. Only to me, the prices of the shampoo and conditioner are too expensive. I tried to find the substitutes, but still couldn't find one till now.

Arbonne sells products on the backs of poor and abused women

Arbonne announced that it gives 400k worth of products to poor and homeless women. Which is a lie. It uses that as a marketing tool. What Arbonne actually does is it sells these products to costumers (give to the poor!) and then turns the products over to the shelters. The salespeople take their commission on ALL of these sales just like any other sale. Arbonne moves product, takes their commissions and then they can go on the Today Show and get free national advertising, pretending that they are charitable. It's a rich corporation using poor and traumatized women as shills to make a profit. Disgusting.

Very typical and hypocritical of companies such as this. They claim to want to help the community, but it is nothing more than a marketing ploy.

Give the stuff away with no contingencies and that is charity. If you make someone buy something before you give to a charity, you are using that charity to your own selfish ends.

Poor Customer Service in regards to shipping orders!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I Love Arbonne products but feel they have the WORST Customer Service I have ever dealt with. I am a customer service manager and in no way should an order take this long to ship. I placed my order on 7/2 in the early AM, my CC was billed on 7/3 through my bank (which means Arbonne processed the CC) however as of 7/9 my order still has not shipped. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with a CSR on 7/8 without anyone being able to tell me when my order would ship just that it is processing. Very frustrating!!!! I will also be looking for alternatives to Arbonne. I just don't feel they have good customer service.

I feel Arbonne is a good product but I believe you push to hard for sales.

A family member is a sales Rep but has invested toooooooo much money & time into selling, she lives Arbonne in fact overlooking family a lot...I could say much more, like I've put a lot of money into it also, only to help her meet the amount of sales she needed,I ordered the Clense kit but became very ill & had to quit taking it is still on the shelf n my kitchen{ waste of money} plus it cost me a Drs visit,I'm no longer taking it Drs orders, also shampoo n cond is a joke...I'm very disipointed n a lot of Arbonne...I'm still thinking of what to do about what the Clense done to me...I been in this kind of sales where your pushed to sale, sale, sale, but I never let it push me at all, because I knew I was lining the company's pockets.....not mine...I sold at my pace which never was good enough...I've never seen anybody get rich but the company!!

Arbonne does have a return policy. Why not just return what has been sitting on your shelf? If you were a consultant, you should be familiar with their return policy.

I find it interesting that you stated you became "very ill" but it only cost you one doctors visit. And then, you didn't contact Arbonne to notify them of your illness due to apparently their products or "demand" a refund (which is clearly in their policy).

I also find it interesting that you judge your family member for being passionate about something.

Clearly she loves the product, is possibly make money from it (not by doing it at her own pace as you stated you did). I personally work two jobs but I'm supported by my family and friends, not crucified.

I am sorry you had a bad experience. I am an Independent Consultant and couldn't LOVE our company anymore than I do!

Did you get your issues resolved, if not I would be more than happy to help?! You get paid on the work you do so if someone signed you up and you don't keep up with sales etc. you lose your status and this puts anyone capable of working above and beyond. I hate to hear you had a bad experience and I absolutely LOVE our products.

Not many company's care as much as Arbonne does and please don't let one bad experience ruin what you think of the company.

Good luck and if I can help please shoot me an email. angjlb@***.com

Keep it Simple-angry at lack of instant gratification?

Like any product, you must educate your self on what ingredients work/ do not work for you. Also when switching products your skin can react in many different ways. Good, bad and ugly.Natural products are not perfect, not on everyone. Arbonne has simplified my cosmetic routine and saved me $$$ throughout the years. Very seldom do I stray. My biggest adjustment was eliminating petroleum by- products. I am 57 years old, have great skin. Thanks Arbonne and to those pissed off- time and patience pay off. There are no miracle products. But dedication and a faithful routine produces results.
