I went to an Arbonne party and decided to try the products so I spent $250 for some seemingly great products. I was hesitant to spend that much but I was willing to give the company a shot. I won't talk too much about how aggressive and annoying the consultant was and how many times I had to tell her no I was not interested in becoming a consultant or hosting a party. Anyway, when I got home I had a receipt waiting in my inbox. The consultant had said she was shipping it to me but she had completely butchered my address. She got the house number and zipcode wrong. I called Arbonne before the order shipped to let them know of the situation and to change the address. They said that since the order was processing there was nothing they could do. Um...isn't that when changes should be made?

So my order shipped. To the wrong address. Arbonne told me to call UPS to change the address. I called UPS and they said that since it was being sent to the local post office for delivery they couldn't change the address. I called Arbonne back. They told me to call the local post office. I called the post office who also said that there was nothing they could do. I called Arbonne back. The customer service rep said she would call me back in twenty minutes. She never did. I called back a few hours later and after going through this whole story again I was put on hold for twenty minutes. The lady said that since the consultant entered the wrong address Arbonne considers it a correct and fulfilled order. WOW.

So they are stealing my $250, it will be getting delivered to some random address on Tuesday, and they will not do anything about it. What's worse, they tell me that they didn't do anything wrong. I've tried calling the consultant numerous times but of course have received no reply. I can't believe a company that would do this. I was looking forward to giving the products a try but won't buy anything from this company again. They are so obviously only interested in my money and now that they have it they don't even care that I won't be receiving my product.

Monetary Loss: $250.

So sorry for your shipping issues! This actually happened to me once a few years ago and I called 1-800-ARBONNE and they contacted UPS and had my package rerouted and I received it on time.

However, like the other commenter said, this company is ran by Independent Consultants who operate their businesses individually.

To be quite honest, if you had an issue with your products, shipping, results or anything else, it is your Independent Consultant's RESPONSIBILITY to fix it. If she is not helpful, contact Arbonne directly and get in touch with your Consultant's Area Manager or Regional Vice President. They will have your order information and can do what less-seasoned Consultants do not know how to do.

All UPS packages are tracked, if you never received it but it says it was delivered, call 1-800-ARBONNE and they will ask you to confirm your shipping address and when they see that it was incorrect they will ship a replacement to the correct address.

Did you purchase the products on a credit card? If so, call the card and charge back the purchase.

You did not receive what you ordered, you should not be paying for it.

If you paid cash I would get onto Facebook and Twitter and share your experience publicly on the party hosts wall. the other party goers should double check their order, and the host should be able to get you in touch with the consultant that screwed up.

I feel so bad! I am happy to send you some free products and post them to you. Please email me, donnacarter@***.com.au

I'm hoping that you have been in contact with your rep about this. Arbonne does have a corporate structure but it is generally a company that is run by their independent consultants and that person should have helped you since she is the one that made the error, not Arbonne.

Unfortunately there are some people out there that sign up to be consultants with Arbonne that do NOT represent company in the way that it should be and are only doing this business as a hobby.

The products that Arbonne has are in fact amazing and do provide great results. I'm sorry that your experience was less than stellar, I only wish that you had been my client.

Your consultant screwed up and is responsible to fulfilling that order. She should have handled the whole mess and called headquarters herself.

Obviously she was either a new consultant or just a Bad one....

please do not judge the company based on ONE rogue consultant.... You definately have a reason to be pissed off.

I stopped three sentences in. If you were only "giving it a shot" you would have bought one item for like 30 bucks or so.

You would NOT have spent 250 dollars on your first ever order unless you truly are as dumb as I currently think you are. Who spends hundreds on a company the first attempt?! You were asking to be smacked when you did that. In addition, if UPS screwed up how is that Arbonne's fault?

Did you check the address the consultant entered online? Did you enter the address yourself and make a typo? If the answer is yes and then no, to those questions, then it is the fault of UPS not Arbonne that the package went to the wrong address. Let's explain that when orders go through an email receipt is sent to the person who is getting the package.

You must not have paid attention to your inbox which is your own fault.

So basically your review is not worth the read and you screwed up. Good job :)

So any customer who spends $250 as their first order at Arbonne deserves to be smacked? Wow, is the company that horrible?

Are their products that bad? Maybe I got lucky then. And no, it's not UPS that screwed up, it's Arbonne. I'm so sorry to hear that some random stranger on the internet questions my intelligence, what ever shall I do with my life now?

I wrote my address down for the consultant, and no I did not double check it when she put it in. I assumed that she was competent enough to enter it in correctly. Obviously that was a mistake on my end. So what I've learned from your response is that no one should be "dumb" enough to spend $250 with Arbonne and we should not be "dumb" enough to trust the consultants to do their job.

I'm glad that you're perfect, never make mistakes, and can cast judgement down onto others from your throne. I imagine it's pretty lonely up there...Maybe, at the very least, you can try understanding the situation before you engage in the whole holier than thou routine. And be honest...obviously you didn't stop three sentences in.

Good job. :)

if you had actually read the entire review instead of commenting after a few sentences, then you would know the person did check the email receipt and noticed the address was incorrect and called Arbonne to correct it. you would also know that Arbonne did nothing to fix the error and are in fact responsable for the error

Um, the consultant screwed up. She entered the wrong information.

And she didnt reimburse her new client for her mistake. Whether she spent $10 or $1000, there is no excuse for poor customer service.

The consultant should be ashamed of herself, and the company should make things right..

You must be the consultant! Because now you can't read either.

Every client I get is "giving it a shot" and signing up for the detox kit which comes out to be 298.44. That's more than 250!

Do not assume that when people decide to try the products that they are only supposed to spend 30 bucks for the first time. Your comment was really unnecessary and rude.

Her consultant messed up and didn't give her good customer service. None of this was her fault.

As with any endeavor you pursue, you have to be responsible for the choices you made. You walked into this situation with doubt and as a result your experience evolved based on your presumptions. No one can steal something in this way, without your permission, you can resolve this to get your money back and move forward by contacting the company directly to so :949770****,800272****.Dont tarnish the Brand based on your insecurity, there products are amazing and while the business model may nor be for everyone as n your case, they are still a Great company to be connected to.

I'm not tarnishing the company based on my insecurity, I'm tarnishing them based on my experience. As I already wrote I did already talk to the company directly 3 times.

One customer service rep promised she would call me back with more information but never did. She clearly did not know what to do. You are right that I should not have acted despite my doubts and that was my mistake, but I do not deserve to have $250 stolen from me from a major company for my error in judgement. I have no experience with their products, only with the way they run business (and saying that their business model doesn't work for everyone is an understatement.

I don't care about their business model, I care about them taking my money and not giving me any products, what kind of business model is that?)and their refusal to help customers or to make things right. That was my experience and that's what I'm writing about.

Did you by chance pay by credit card? If yes contact the CC company and tell them to stop the payment.

If by check put a stop payment. If by cash:how did you meet the consultant? Thru a friend ? Go to them or who ever hosted the "party".

The consultant should deal with this and if they don't feel free to publicly shame them because they are condoning this bad behavior. Others need to be warned.

You can also file a claim with the better business bureau . Good luck
