I have been an independent consultant for 6 years mostly to buy the products at a discount not really to sell to others. My renewal came and went this March with no prompt or email from Arbonne.

When I tried to renew, they mandated that I join as a preferred client (much lower discount) for an arbitrary 6 month waiting period until I can re-join and re-pay as a consultant. This is a horrible way to treat a consultant and customer. When I called them, the wait was horrendous. After I requested to speak to supervisor, another horrible wait, her reception cut in and out and then I got hung up on!

Wow! What is going on there?

I am officially over it! Adios, Arbonne!!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $50.

Location: Thousand Oaks, California

Niki,

It's true you can have wholesale accounts. The company just wants to see more $$$.

I also have a few accounts so what. It's like a Costco card. It's cheaper there then your regular grocery store. Anyways, my whole family uses my ID.

Sometimes in a whole combined year with the 5 of us the sales might be a few thousand dollars. I'm sure Arbonne likes that. There are many people who do that. Maybe you might not make $$$ but the bottom line is that the company does and that is what they care about-SALES!!!

NO one buys ARbonne at retail anyways. That's why there are so many consultants like you selling it on Ebay. So it's obvious they need to resell. Have a look on Ebay right now-thousand of ARbonne products.

ITs been like that for years. So better to get a wholesale account or buy off Ebay. Unless someone lives under a rock, no way do people pay full price on the product. They might hold a party but most people hate those parties.

It's very old school and that's why many consultants did the way of free loading in hopes that others would do that with the RE9 kits.

Macy,

As a consultant for an MLM company, I can assure you that the company that I currently work for does not allow people to sign up as "consultants" just so they receive the additional discount, therefore your statement is incorrect. It would be an idiotic business decision to allow this, as I would have "zero" customers to on sell to.

Truly, why would they buy off me at full price when (if allowed) they could sign up as a "consultant" with no intention of promoting the product and yet still receive a "consultants" discount. MLM companies would not exist if this were the case. They would just have thousands of so called "consultants" signed up as no one would want to pay full price if it were this easy to receive a discount.

I know of two current consultants for Arbonne who are not representatives just for a "free ride", they believe in the product and do everything in their power to represent Arbonne, hence the reason I am reviewing the product before I buy. It has been entertaining at least to listen to these petty reviews.

As for "Done with Arbonne after 6 years". She clearly "loved" the product for 6 years but has thrown a tantrum because she now has to pay full price.

Niki I disagree

I have 6 wholesale accounts for different products. These companies don't care.

It's the sale. Go do some more research. I still have my consultant ID for ARbonne but only buy maybe once or twice a year. I don't really like the skincare that much.

I prefer Rodan and Fields. Their peptide capsule and MD scrub is out of this world. But I must say that I then use the primer from ARbonne. That works great with the R & D skincare.

I use a few things from Isagenix too. So whatever to your comments.

At on of our ladies meetings there are many that do that.

I have been a product user for over 3 years and also registered as a consultant to receive the better discount pricing. I receive several reminders each year, beginning 4-months out before my renewal is due.

It is all done by computer, so the error HAS TO BE human. My consultant is Penny Polokoff ID#1884**** and her website is www.all4health.myarbonne.com She has always been helpful, generous with product samples, and often checks in with me to see if I need anything. When my mother was ill, she called daily to check in.She was not earning money by being kind to me but she has earned my friendship and I will always feel comfortable sending my friends and family members to her to learn about Arbonne. Most of the people who do Arbonne as a business, are in it as a lifestyle as well.

The people genuinely care and that is what sets them apart. One cannot condemn an entire company for the experience of a single consumer. Again, I would imagine it was consumer error.

I would not stop using the best products on earth because you had a tantrum. Just sayin

So, you weren't actually a consultant. You were just using the product and getting a consultant discount!

That's no reason to go online and bash Arbonne.

Some people actually are consultants and because of petty publicity like this, some people may never try the product to know how great it really works! For some of us, it's a real job!

I don't think it's petty. It's true.

Why hide the truth. This has been happening lately to many other people. If this lady had the consultant ID then ARbonne should let her just renew. This is another reason people get sick of the company.

It's called poor customer relations.

Its a free world and who are you to say what she can post. Grow up

I'm considering trying Arbonne and find most of these comments to be utterly ridiculous. As a consultant selling and promoting any product, a "consultants" discount should certainly apply.

As a "customer" claiming to be a "consultant" to cheat the company out of funds and save herself money is ludicrous. As far as I'm concerned, she should think herself lucky to have gotten away with it for so long.

Niki

All MLM companies allow people to be whole sale buyers. What she said is she missed the cutoff to renew.

ARbonne use to always allow to people to renew even if they were a week late before. It's not ripping off the company. Get your facts straight. Just so you know, ARbonne charges full retail tax on your product even with your discount.

Other companies don't do that. So if anything is dishonest, that isn't right. So go order your products and see for yourself. Most consultants are grandfathered in only for the discount.

That is the bread and butter of the company-whole sale buyers who are using it only for the discount. Many are 15 years or longer
