I so badly wanted to love Arbonne. I went to a party for fun, got to try out the RE9 system, liked it and decided to buy one, even hosted a party to get 50% off the set! I even had friends sign up as consultants at my party (so now I'm always surrounded by it!). I was so excited to start using it but what a MAJOR let down!

I am young and have never had issues with my skin besides a blemish or two here and there, but after using this it ruined my skin! First I noticed a funky patch on my right cheek it felt really weird and itched like crazy, then came a huge cold sore on my lip..I have never in my life had one before. Then I got a huge (and I mean huge) cyst like lump on the top side of my nose that I can still feel it months later under my skin although smaller now. I since have had constant big pimples that keep popping up and leaving acne scars and under my eyes got very dry and chapped and my skin started noticeably peeling and looking flaky. Kind of coincidental for all of this to happen back to back to back when the only change was starting the RE9. The consultant said this was "normal" and my skin is "flushing out toxins" well it's been months and nothing has changed.

This product is not one size fits all no matter what the smooth talking consultant says! For products that claim to be all natural my skin sure is reacting like I'm using harsh chemicals on it. I am also not allergic to anything. Now I'm stuck with a ridiculously priced facial system and have nothing to do with it. I will stick with Burt's Bee's Radiance line from now on! Now I can't hate on all of it. I adore their make-up primer (the only thing I will continue to buy from them) and their make up is decent albeit over priced.

Arbonne ruined my skin to the point worthy of a lawsuit.

I have quite dry skin and tried the moisturizer and ended up getting more pimples! I always apply it sparingly so cannot be that I put too much on!

My skin healthy apart from that. Having said that I like the lipstick as it doesn't make my lips react like other lipsticks do.

BUT the eye cream burns my eyelids!! I do not think their products are for everyone as their wording suggests.

There's no way a skin care line can give you a coldsore. Lost all credibility by saying that.

Lol actually your skin is one big giant organ. Even the Arbonne consultant told us to put garlic between our toes and you can taste it in your mouth so how does using something ON your face NEXT to your lips not provoke a reaction?

Maybe it wasn't an actual "cold sore" but a reaction to he product on my lips.

This was literally years ago-you don't have to believe it, but it's what happened to me. Thankful I pitched the product.

A Cold sore is from the herpes virus and that alone.....

Funny I came across this review, having the exact same reaction right down to the cold sore! Maybe itโ€™s a certain site that provokes a reaction, possibly not a cold sore but very similar looking!

If you are using make up that isn't good for you it cod make things worse. It had taken me a few months for my skin to adjust to Arbonne.

Now it's fine :). There is a 45 day money back guarentee. Maybe you should have used eithe CALM or FC5. RE9 is too strong for me.

If you used other brands like eg.

Clinique, this could cause bad reactions. One is full if really bad stuff and Arbonne is not x

Can any of you please please let me know if you guys were able to fix your skin. My sister is a beautiful 21 yo active girl but is being debilitated by bumps and scaring on her face for the past few months.

She uses Arbonne I know and would love to help her. It hurts me to see her in this situation as she's going from one dermatologist to another.

Although I'm a guy and never used makeup I strongly feel that the makeup that she's wearing is causing it - but she doesn't seem to think so. Can anyone please reply or email me (josh1615@***.com) with any advice to help a sweet girl in painful misery

I am having the same experience right now. I went from having a pimple here or there every once and awhile to my face being covered in cystic acne.

Unfortunately,I had such an overwhelming, misplaced faith in the product that I thought "well it has to get worse before it gets better, right?" Wrong. It got worse and worse, and I went over the 45 day return limit.

I spent $100 for nothing.

My face hurts to touch, I can't even look in the mirror without crying and I don't leave the house aside from going to school. My self esteem is in shambles, and I am so angry I let someone talk me into wasting money on this product which I can only describe as Satan in a nicely packaged bottle.

Cate, can you please look at the comment that I posted above. Thanks!

Actually, the skin is more porous on the face. So putting it on your hand doesn't do the same thing.

YOu have try a patch on your face. The skin is tougher on your hand then the face.

The face has pores and the sensitivities are seen more there. Just saying.........

Actually, the proper way to have people try the product at first is on the back of their hand to see if the product caused irritation.

I have had the same experience this weekend. I so wanted to love the products.

Today I woke with hives on my neck, just the side that we were pampering at the party. This afternoon I'm getting blisters along my jawline, chin, and nose. I too feel the beginnings of a cold sore, although I've unfortunately had them in the past. I have scheduled an appointment with my dermatologist.

Does anyone here have good news after going to a dermatologist and how long it took for the blisters to clear.

I really don't want this to last months. :( I don't care about getting my money back, I would like my face clear immediately.

I hate to add on to my experience from when I posted this but it only got worse! One day I woke up and my whole face was COVERED in red painful bumps!

I went to my doctor and he prescribed me a steroid cream and after about a week it reduced the swelling dramatically but I STILL over a year later have acne scars. Everyone says they don't notice it but I do and I'm still super insecure about them. I went from never wearing foundation to now only using it. Again Arbonne was the only product I had changed in my routine and I have no doubt that's what caused all the mess.

I've never touched another product if there's and my face has been just fine besides the acne scars Arbonne left behind. I wish I could report better news and tell you there's a cure a but it took a long time and many different products to fix what happened and I still to this day is medema on my face for the care and lots of make up to cover them up :(

I have heard of several people whose beautiful skin was ruined after using Arbonne.

Very unfortunate.

I'm not sure howt hat company can continue to have business after reading all these negative posts.

I want to say that there was a lot of helpful information in other individual's post where. There were many red *** that I thought of, and you guys did a great job pointing them out.

You could most definitely be alleric to it, and I don't know how old you are, but the RE9 set is very strong. It is meant for older women, so it might be too strong for you.

I would as for a refund or exchange to possible try the FC5 set. Talk to a consultant, or one of your girl friends....you could always email me at cheachip_2@***.com and I could try and give you some helpful information.

may not be what you guys what to hear but fact are this is happening and you no what Arbonne is not good savior...it a product like many more ................allergies!! please ..maybe so for some people i agree but not here and probably for others to..........

Guest

Arbonne never states that its for everybody as skin types are all so different. So maybe it was not for you. What to do -return it-and money will be refunded as long as it is within the 45 days.

Guest

The same thing happened to me! I ended up being allergic to the stuff.

I had a red blotchy rash on my face that itched once in awhile and my acne got worse. I feel your pain! I was using the exact same product you were. The makeup and the primer clogged my pores and bothered me as well.

I say toss it in the garbage. If it destroyed your face, then it could destroy other's.

Guest

A good organic natural product wouldn't cause it but ARbonne is not organic or natural. It has synthetic ingredients mixed with botanicals.

The chemicals take less then 30 minutes to get into your system.

I don't think arbonne is that safe and that is also why they have never signed the safe cosmetic site. They still use PEG 100, Butylene Glycol and many others ingredients like that which are known skin irritants.
